About this race
Les Courses de la Colline is a trail and nature-running event held in early May in Niederhausbergen, located in the Bas-Rhin department of France’s Grand Est region. Participants can select either a 5 km or a 10 km race. The 5 km begins in the late afternoon, with the 10 km starting soon after. A 10 km Nordic walk is also available, meaning the event welcomes more than just runners.
The 10 km trail attracts the most attention, having registered over 100 participants in its last running. The course covers an elevation gain of approximately 110 meters and a descent of about 80 meters. Les Fort Trotters and VCUStri are the organizing bodies. The event's approach is distinctly local and straightforward: short race lengths, a natural, hilly course, and a schedule favoring late-afternoon starts over early morning road races.
