Les Courses des Casemates 2027

Les Courses des Casemates are trail races held in Dangolsheim, Alsace, each February by the Trail des Casemates association. The event features two primary distances: the 13 km Course des Boums Cœurs, beginning at 10:30 AM with 500 m of elevation gain, and the 25 km Rush des Casemates, starting at 9:30 AM and involving 900 m of climbing. The course takes participants through casemates, vineyards, and the hills of Alsace, connecting the race to the local landscape and the region’s military past. This is a compact, mountain-style trail event, not a flat road race, with sufficient elevation on both distances to make pacing and climbing key elements of the competition.
