Les courses des garennes - Cozes is a country trail run starting and finishing at the Jardin Public in Cozes. The main event covers 15.4 km with approximately 150 meters of elevation gain, offering a substantial rural run without the intensity of a mountain race. With about 200 participants, it maintains the atmosphere of a local gathering rather than a large urban competition. The course is predominantly off-road, utilizing paths through woods and meadows for about 80% of its length. Aid stations are located at 8.5 km and at the finish line. Showers are available 300 meters away. Post-race amenities include coffee upon bib collection, a participation prize for all, trophies for the top three overall finishers and category winners, a beer at the finish, and an aperitif following the awards ceremony. A meal can be purchased on-site for 17 euros.
