About this race
Les Foulées Collégiales is a road-running weekend in Seclin, with the main races taking place in the city center in December. The program includes timed 5 km and 10 km races, both with French athletics Label Bronze status and qualifying for the French championships. It also offers children’s races: a 600 m untimed run for the youngest age groups and a 1.2 km untimed race with rankings for slightly older children.
The name references Seclin’s Collégiale Saint-Piat, the local landmark behind the “Collégiales” designation. The event is organized by the Ligue d’Athlétisme with Athlétisme Club de Seclin and the City of Seclin, connecting it to the local athletics community rather than being a commercial event. A past edition attracted over 500 runners, drawing a mix of young children, club runners seeking certified times, and local amateurs using the 5 km or 10 km as a straightforward winter road race.
