Les foulées du large

Les Foulées du Large is an evening road race in Quiberon, on Brittany's Morbihan coast, offering 5 km and 10 km distances in mid-July. The 5 km race begins in the early evening, followed by the 10 km. Both distances are suitable for local runners, holiday visitors, and those seeking a quick coastal run without a long commitment. Quiberon Sport Nature organizes this event, now in its thirteenth year. The races commence at Esplanade Hoche. The 5 km course consists of two loops, and the 10 km course uses three loops through the town centre and along the seafront. Youth races are also part of the day, with a 1 km race for U12 runners and a 2 km race for U14 runners on the town-centre loop. A charity hike on local trails from Place Hoche is available for non-runners. The event supports Tribu Cancer, a Quiberon association assisting patients and arranging sea excursions for those with illnesses.
