Magis'trail - Luynes is a December trail-running event held at the gymnasium in Luynes, west of Tours. It features three races: the 25 km Magis'Trail with 450 m of elevation gain, the 16 km Trail des Vallées with 370 m, and the 8 km Trail des Coteaux with 140 m. The 25 km race is part of the departmental Trails 37 challenge, and the event limits participation to 1,000 runners. Start times are staggered throughout the morning, beginning with the 25 km runners, followed by the 16 km and 8 km fields, and concluding with an 8 km nature walk.
The routes traverse paths and woodlands surrounding Luynes and extend into Saint-Étienne-de-Chigny, emphasizing local trails over road running. Each course is marked with a specific color: red for 25 km, blue for 16 km, and green for 8 km. The walk follows the 8 km course but does not include bibs, rankings, or prizes, and is capped at 50 participants. A hydration station is located at km 11, runners receive a gift upon bib collection, and food is available at the finish line. A portion of the proceeds benefits Sapeurs Lipopette, a charity supporting sick children at Tours' Clocheville hospital.
