The Marathon des Grands Crus begins in Dijon, located in the Côte-d'Or department of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, directing participants along the Route des Grands Crus. This autumn event offers multiple race distances: 5 km, 10 km, a half marathon, and the full 42.195 km marathon. The schedule also features roller events and hikes, extending beyond a typical road-running weekend.
The course highlights Burgundy's landscape, winding through vineyards and past châteaux, with Dijon's architecture featured near the city. Aid stations are supported by Leclerc Marsannay, and regional cuisine is integrated into the course's character. The event incorporates local elements like the Nuiton-Beaunoy wine cellar, K6FM’s Kombi-K6 at the Allées du Parc, a 23 km roller race, and shuttle services for participant transport.
