Milo'Trail is an annual trail race in Villechenève, a village in the Rhône department of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. It is built around countryside running rather than road racing, with courses that use about 90% paths and trails. The main options usually sit between 12 and 23 km, including the 12 km Azole and the 23 km Tour Matagrin, which climbs about 800 m. There are also children's races near the stadium and a short solidarity event that can be walked or run.
The race grew from fewer than 70 starters at its first edition to about 500 runners today, with around 90 volunteers helping on race day. Its name comes from “Les Milottiers,” the nickname for people from Villechenève, and the organizing association, Des Fourmis dans les Pattes, was set up to bring more sporting and cultural events to the village. Milo'Trail also belongs to the Challenge des Monts du Lyonnais, a local series with short and long trail distances across the Lyonnais hills.
