The Mini raid de l'ANSA is a short foot-and-mountain-bike orienteering race around Montigny-sur-Loing, north of Nemours. Racers have up to 2 hours 30 minutes, start together at noon, and use an electronic finger device to record each checkpoint they find.
The goal is simple: collect as many markers as possible, with the ranking decided first by marker count and then by time. Entry is capped at 50 people, mountain bikes and helmets are mandatory, a compass is recommended, and ANSA gives the exact meeting spot one week before the race.
