The Monaco Gravel Race begins near Peille, a village situated at approximately 650 metres in the Maritime Alps, overlooking Monaco. This UCI-sanctioned gravel event offers a qualifying spot for the UCI Gravel World Championships, with distances available from 50 km to 120 km.
The course travels from Peille towards the Mercantour region, featuring mountain gravel sections on climbs like the Col de Braus, a route previously used by Tour de France cyclists, and a segment leading to the Col des Boeufs. The organizers confirm the course is entirely rideable, without singletrack, mandatory dismounts, or unexpected technical challenges, although mountain-appropriate gearing and roughly 45 mm tires are advised for the rockier terrain.
