Noct'blanzatrail 2026

Noct'BlanzaTrail is a headlamp night trail race held in the hills above Blanzat and Clermont, in France's Auvergne region. Organized by the Amicale de Coureurs de Fond d'Auvergne, it is designed as an accessible nature run, not exclusively for specialists. Experienced trail runners can tackle the climbs, while beginners can experience night running in a clearly defined event. The start is at the Croix Saint Géraud sports complex in Blanzat, where runners collect bibs and complete on-site registration. The race utilizes the elevation changes of the Côtes de Clermont, offering two main routes: the 18 km Trans-côtes and the 12 km Découverte. Each course includes a mid-race aid station for liquids and another at the finish. Runners must provide their own cup or bottle, as the event discourages single-use plastic. Post-race, participants can use showers near the sports complex and receive a simple snack including soup, beer, and dessert. The organizer also hosts the Trail de Vulcain in early March. Noct'BlanzaTrail contributes one euro per registered runner to the AFM Téléthon.
