The Nocturne du Béout is a night trail series held in Omex, a small village in the Hautes-Pyrénées near Lourdes. Multiple races take place on the same evening: a 12 km solo trail featuring 500 meters of elevation gain, a 24 km pairs race with 1,000 meters of climbing, and a race for cadet and junior runners.
The solo race has a limit of 280 participants. The Duo des Balcons permits 110 teams of two, with partners needing to remain together throughout. The cadet/junior course covers 10.7 km and 480 meters of climbing, serving as the Hautes-Pyrénées Trail Jeunes Championship. The event also connects to the departmental FFA youth trail championship. Endurance 65 is the organizer, with support from the five villages in the valley for the welcome. Participants receive homemade garbure post-race.
