Nog'en Trail is a Sunday summer trail race held in Nogent-le-Bernard, Sarthe. It offers a short course of 10 to 11 km and a 20 km option. The shorter race involves approximately 200 m of climbing, and the 20 km route includes about 400 m. Both routes are hilly but not mountainous. Over 300 runners are anticipated for the two main distances. The event is organized by the local PB Athlé / Patriote de Bonnétable club.
The course is primarily off-road, with roughly three-quarters on forest paths and country trails, and the remainder on roads. The event also features a hike, a youth race, and an adapted sport race, making it more diverse than a typical two-distance trail event. The shorter race often sees local contenders, while the 20 km field is considered open. The race shifted from its previous late-August date due to Nogent-le-Bernard's agricultural fair; strong participation may lead to its continued scheduling on the newer summer date. All participants receive a prize, and bib pickup requires a photo ID that matches the registration name.
