Nouste Trail is a night trail race held in Nay, a town in Béarn within the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Established in 2008 and organized by Cap' raid 64, the event provides three trail running options alongside an 8 km untimed night walk across the Nay plain. The race maintains a local, welcoming atmosphere while challenging participants, with all proceeds benefiting Coopération Sud Organisation, supporting development projects in Mali's Pays Dogon region.
The primary courses include a 22.5 km route featuring 800 m of elevation gain and a 12.3 km route with 350 m of elevation gain. The longer course presents consistent ascents and descents, three significant challenging segments, and a demanding final stretch for those who have managed their energy reserves. The shorter course, which is part of the RRUN Challenge, is also demanding, with steep ascents, descents, and quicker, undulating sections requiring frequent pace adjustments. Aid stations and changing facilities are available.
