Pentes et Côtes is a trail event held on marked GR paths near Saverdun, Brie, and Canté in Ariège. Participants can select from two trail distances: 10 km with 170 meters of elevation gain, or 19 km with 380 meters of elevation gain. A 10 km walk is also offered, making the day accessible to non-runners.
The longer route presents a hillier traverse of the local terrain, while the shorter race maintains an accessible format without being flat. Courir Sympa Saverdun organizes this event, which has been held for at least fifteen years. The program includes children’s races, a LucasD youth challenge, a tombola, a dinner buffet, showers, changing rooms, and supports the partner charity, Les chiens guides du sud-Ouest.
