Poker Trail Mont Garrot - Saint-Suliac 2027

Poker Trail Mont Garrot is a charitable trail race in Saint-Suliac, Ille-et-Vilaine, run on the paths of Mont Garrot each March. Participants select one of two supported associations prior to the start. They then race repeated 5.7 km loops, with a 45-minute time limit per lap. This format introduces a poker-like element: after each loop, the fastest finishers secure donations for their chosen association based on their position. The loop distance remains constant, but the race can extend up to ten laps, totaling nearly 60 km and over 2,200 m of elevation gain for those completing it. Organizers note it as one of the most challenging races in Ille-et-Vilaine. Separate rankings exist for women and men, with intermediate standings after each lap and a final overall ranking after the tenth lap. The race was established by Alexandre Vagne and benefits causes including Mario et Mimo, which raises funds for less common groups assisting children with rare diseases, and Les petits pas d’Isabella, which finances care and therapies for a girl with lissencephaly.
