The Poyl Poyl Trail begins and ends in Poilley, a village in Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany. This nature race, organized by the Poilley festival committee, offers two distances: the 5 km “petit POYL POYL” and the 11 km “grand POYL POYL.” Field sizes are capped at 100 participants for the short course and 200 for the long course. The routes follow local paths that can become muddy and wet, so trail shoes are recommended. The 11 km course features a water station at the 6 km mark. Participants must be at least 15 years old for the 5 km and 17 for the 11 km. Registration requires a recent PPS health certificate or a valid FFA license. A portion of each entry fee supports a charity. Bibs are available for pickup on-site, and parking is accessible via the Saint-James-Fougères road.
