The Raid Bommes Sauternes Vallée du Ciron is a short multisport race held in Bommes, Gironde, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It begins at 10:30 a.m. and takes place in March. The race combines three disciplines: mountain biking, trail running, and canoeing. Participants can compete individually or in pairs. The sequence includes 1.4 km of trail running, 28.8 km by mountain bike, another 6.5 km of trail running, and a final 5.2 km canoe leg.
The course winds through the Sauternes wine region and the Ciron Valley, transitioning from vineyard paths to pine forests before reaching the water. Organized by the local canoe-kayak club, the final canoe segment is integral to the race's character. Having completed at least twenty editions, including one with 368 participants, it stands as a significant local event for southern Gironde.
