Raid de la Côte de Granit is a paired raid race held on Île-Grande in Pleumeur-Bodou, along the Côtes-d'Armor coast of Brittany. It takes place in early March, combining running, laser shooting, and orienteering. XS and S formats ensure the event remains short and accessible, rather than a long-distance expedition.
The race structure involves linked tasks: teams run, stop at laser-shooting stations, and then navigate to continue through the island course by the sea. For the S format, the run-and-shoot segment consists of four 1.2 km running loops for a total of 4.8 km, with four shooting rounds. Transition time is included in the final result. Each entry is a duo, meaning the format emphasizes communication and consistent teamwork alongside speed. Lannion Triathlon organizes the event, drawing its character from utilizing Île-Grande as a compact natural area instead of a typical road-race setup.
