Relais des Roses is a road relay held in late April in Châtenoy-en-Bresse, located in France’s Saône-et-Loire department. Teams of six participants complete a marathon-length course, with each runner covering 6 km individually before the entire team runs the final 6 km together. The event welcomes participants of all abilities, offering men’s, women’s, and mixed categories, making it suitable for clubs, companies, associations, families, and groups of friends.
The course winds around Prairie Saint-Nicolas and features minimal elevation gain, approximately 20 meters. The focus is therefore on team coordination and pacing rather than navigating ascents. Established in 2004, the race is currently organized by Chalon Triathlon Club. Organizations and clubs have the option to register multiple teams. Support facilities, including aid stations and changing rooms, are provided. The event includes an announcer and an on-site refreshment stand, contributing to a communal atmosphere.
