Relais du Plan d'eau is a two-person relay held at the Plan d'eau de Rumilly each November, organized by Rumilly Athle 74. The course is a short loop around the lake; most teams complete laps of a 1,200-meter circuit, with younger participants using an 800-meter loop. This event is in its second edition, maintaining the same two-person team structure as its first running.
The day features seven distinct starts, separating children, club athletes, seniors, masters runners, and casual participants into different races. Some starts are exclusively for runners licensed with a French Athletics Federation club, while others are open to all. A notable format is the Open Children/Adult Relay, pairing one adult with one child. Under federation rules, children who have already competed earlier in the day are ineligible for this family relay.
