Ride & Trail in Ocre is a late-September sports weekend held at the Bruoux Mines in Gargas, Vaucluse, France. Saturday is dedicated to mountain biking, with participants selecting routes ranging from approximately 13 to 48 km and gaining between a few hundred metres and over 1,000 m in elevation. Electric mountain bikes are permitted, and the format allows riders to add loops during their ride rather than selecting a fixed distance beforehand. Sunday features trail races with 7 km, 13 km, and 20 km options; the longest trail involves around 420 m of elevation change.
The location is the area of Provence known as the Colorado Provençal, and the routes utilize this ochre landscape. The bike course primarily consists of singletrack, combining red and yellow ochre paths with canyons and trails in the Monts de Vaucluse. The run includes a unique passage inside the Bruoux mines before exiting through the same vivid ochre terrain. Some editions also offer road cycling, attracting mountain bikers, trail runners, walkers, relay teams, and families seeking varied racing from a single base.
