Ronde de la Châtaigneraie

The Ronde de la Châtaigneraie is a 70 km road relay held in Montsalvy, a village in the Cantal department of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. It takes place in November, beginning in the morning, and is organized by the Association Ronde de la Châtaigneraie. The route involves climbing on each relay leg, and local race descriptions characterize the circuit as difficult. Results from previous editions indicate participation by men’s, women’s, and mixed teams from clubs and towns throughout the region and further afield, including Aurillac, Ussel, Toulouse, Clermont, Aveyron, and Lozère.
