Rougail Trail is a night trail run in Boudou, a village in France's Tarn-et-Garonne department. Runners start with headlamps, heading into the hills above where the Tarn and Garonne rivers meet. The main trail distances are 20 km with approximately 550 m of elevation gain and 10 km with approximately 250 m of elevation gain. A walking option is also available.
The routes traverse forest tracks and ridge paths near Boudou. The terrain emphasizes footing, mud, and awareness in the dark over raw speed. The village location offers runners elevated views of the river landscape. Following the race, registered participants receive rougail saucisse and a beer.
