Run & Bike Pontcharra 2027

Run & Bike Pontcharra is a run-and-bike event held in Pontcharra, Isere, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, organised by Gresivaudan Triathlon. It features two distances: 10 km and 20 km. Competitors can choose one race or participate in both via a challenge format that combines their finishing times. The event is open to participants from the Cadets category upwards, allowing 16-year-olds to compete alongside older runners. The 20 km race starts at Stade de l'Ile Fribaud, with the course winding around the Lones, along the lake, and through forested areas. The inaugural event attracted 55 duos and was noted locally as a novel race format for the area. Pontcharra sur Breda train station is located less than a kilometre from the start, offering convenient access by rail.
