The Semi-marathon de Cabourg is a 21 km road race held in Cabourg, located on Normandy’s Côte Fleurie, each late March. The start and finish lines are at the Gymnase de la Divette on Avenue de la Divette. This officially measured, FFA-labelled route qualifies for the French championships.
Runners may compete individually in the half marathon, or as a duo or two-person relay team. The course is designed for consistent pacing, featuring an ultra-flat profile with just 28 metres of elevation gain. It includes a section along the Promenade Marcel Proust by the sea. Over 3,000 participants, including those aiming for personal bests, relay teams, and club runners using the certified course for qualification, take part. Pacemakers are available to help runners maintain target paces, with aid stations provided every 5 km and at the finish.
