Semi-marathon Saint-Pol-Morlaix 2026

The Saint-Pol-Morlaix begins at the cathedral in Saint-Pol-de-Léon and finishes 22 km later at the viaduct in Morlaix, Finistère, Brittany. This road race, held annually in November, has been organized since 1973, establishing it as Brittany's oldest race. Although longer than a half marathon, a timing checkpoint at 21.1 km allows participants to record their half-marathon split. The course requires patience initially, featuring a predominantly uphill first half before transitioning to a more downhill trajectory towards Morlaix. The main 22 km race attracts approximately 3,500 participants. The accompanying 10 km race, from Taulé to Morlaix, can draw even larger numbers, exceeding 5,000 participants. In total, the event accommodates around 9,000 runners across all distances. Locals refer to it as "the race of Brittany," and the starting field is so substantial that it can take nearly four minutes for all runners to begin moving.
