Semin'Ordic 2026

Semin'Ordic is a 10 km timed Nordic walk held in Savigny-sur-Orge, Essonne, south of Paris, with the next edition scheduled for mid-October. Organized by the Savigny-sur-Orge athletics club, the event is part of both the Ile-de-France Regional Nordic Walking Challenge and the Essonne departmental challenge. The course begins at the JF Kennedy school, with the majority of the walk taking place in the park of the Château de Morsang. An Open Nordic walk and a classified race are offered. In the classified race, participants start in small groups of five every 15 seconds. Judges are stationed along the route to offer guidance and promote correct Nordic walking technique, providing a coaching element alongside the competitive structure.
