Senpereko trail - Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle 2027

Senpereko Trail is a weekend trail-running series held in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, Pyrénées-Atlantiques. It features four races and two hikes, with distances ranging from the 10.8 km Ibar Run Trail to the 81.9 km Tontorrez Tontor. The shorter race involves a 420-metre climb, and the longest route gains 4,830 metres, making even the shortest option a substantial mountain run. The courses are set between the Basque Country's Atlantic coast and its mountains, utilizing the peaks surrounding the Rhune massif. Saturday's main events include the 81.9 km Tontorrez Tontor, the 41.9 km Gotorlekuen Itzulia, and the 10.8 km Ibar Run Trail. Sunday features the 21.1 km race with 1,070 metres of elevation gain. The most challenging option includes a loop towards the Bidassoa, offering a more extensive tour beyond the Rhune area for experienced participants.
