The cheptain trail - Cheptainville 2027

Cheptain'Trail By Night is a semi-night trail race in Cheptainville, Essonne, where part of the running is done by headlamp. The main options are an 11 km solo route with approximately 300 m of elevation gain and a 22 km pairs format with approximately 700 m of elevation gain. In the pairs format, the two runners must stay together. The program also includes CheptainKid for children. The routes follow rural, hilly trails near the Milly-la-Foret forest, featuring sand, scree, and forest paths. Runners also pass through the old quarries of Avrainville, adding a rugged character to the course. It attracts trail runners from the Ile-de-France calendar seeking a short, intense course with varied terrain, climbing, and the challenge of fading light.
