The Cycling Event transforms the Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle in Aubagne, France, into a bike festival during a spring weekend. It offers multiple disciplines: mountain bike enduro, gravel, road cycling, cross-country, e-bike-friendly rides, youth challenges, and activities for young children on bikes. The event caters to both serious cyclists and casual visitors, with free entry to the village and entertainment zone.
The competitive events include the Enduro du Garlaban, a 35 km mountain bike race with 1200 meters of climbing and timed stages. The Gravel Experience covers 70 km with 1600 meters of elevation gain. Road cyclists can select 80 or 115 km routes in the Cyclo “Le Peloton OBI,” and XCO La Bartavelle follows the Olympic cross-country format. Off the race courses, visitors can test mountain, road, gravel, and e-bikes at no cost, view VTT demonstrations, participate in workshops and challenges, and bring children to balance-bike areas, a pump track, play modules, GEN-S Games for U15/U17 riders, or the Rider Bike Challenge for ages 2 to 5.
