The Touquet Raid Pas-de-Calais is a nature-based multisport race in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage on France’s Opal Coast, with nearly 400 participants expected. It is built around linked outdoor disciplines rather than a single run: mountain biking, trail running, run-and-bike, orienteering, and even a biathlon section. Adults can choose a 38 km discovery format or a tougher 76 km sport format, while teenagers aged 12 to 17 and family pairs get their own roughly 20 km version, open to one adult with one child over 12.
The route uses the Le Touquet area as a natural playground, moving through dunes, beach, forest, bay, and local landmark spots. Navigation is part of the race: teams may follow a map, a road book, or course markers depending on the section. The event puts a lot of emphasis on pairs and shared decision-making, especially through the changing disciplines and navigation formats. It also makes room for younger racers and families, with a dedicated three-hour Saturday race and free activities for children and adults around the main raid.
