About this race
The Tour du Jura Cycliste is a one-day road race in eastern France, covering 176 km from Fraisans to a summit finish on Mont Poupet above Salins-les-Bains. The race features a long flat opening before the final section becomes a climbing contest, making it a challenging day for sprinters and breakaway riders alike.
The route remains mostly flat for the first two-thirds, with the final climb to Mont Poupet determining the winner. In one notable finish, Guillaume Martin and Clément Berthet attacked two kilometres from the line, catching the final breakaway rider, Odd Christian Eiking. Martin initiated his sprint from 200 metres out, with Berthet taking second place. José Manuel Díaz led the remaining group home for third, 18 seconds behind the leaders.
