The Tour du Lac de Paladru is a late-summer 14 km road race in Isère, starting from Montferrat village on the edge of Lake Paladru. It includes approximately 150 meters of elevation gain, making it a rolling course rather than a flat one, but it remains a short road event, not a mountain race. Participants can complete the full 14 km individually, share the distance as a two-person relay (7 km each), compete in handisport categories, or take part in the athletic walk.
The course proceeds counter-clockwise from Montferrat, passing through Paladru, Le Pin, and Charavines. The road is entirely closed to vehicles from the start until Charavines, approximately 9 km in. From there, the race transitions to a greenway for the final section, while vehicular traffic uses the adjacent D50 road. This event is among the established races in the region, with nearly fifty editions completed. Local organizers consider it one of Isère’s most scenic road races.
