The Tour du Mont Blanc Cyclo is an ultra-endurance cycling event held in Les Saisies each July. The solo route covers 330 km and 8,300 m of elevation gain, starting and finishing in Les Saisies. This is a demanding mountain stage requiring thorough preparation beyond casual fitness.
The duo format divides the course between two riders. One cyclist covers 155 km with 4,300 m of climbing from Les Saisies to Grand-Saint-Bernard. The second rider completes 175 km with 4,000 m of climbing from Grand-Saint-Bernard back to Les Saisies. Participants assemble before sunrise, equipped with headlamps, receive final safety briefings from the speaker and race director, and then begin as music plays. The event emphasizes courage and exceeding typical boundaries.
