Tout Angers Bouge guides runners through Angers, located in France’s Maine-et-Loire department, utilizing the city itself as the race course on urban trails. The event takes place in early June and provides three primary trail distances: an 8 km route suitable for beginners, a more challenging 12 km option, and a 25 km course for those seeking an extended exploration of the city. A family race is also part of the day's activities, ensuring participation beyond regular trail runners.
The sports village is situated at Lac de Maine, transforming the event into more than just races, as local clubs showcase over a hundred sports disciplines. The routes are designed around Angers’ heritage, crossing historic sites, green areas, and unique city sections. Notable landmarks on the route include the former town hall, the Château d’Angers, the Cathédrale Saint-Maurice, the Jardin des Plantes, and the Jardin du Musée des Beaux-Arts. Certain courses feature numerous stairs leading to Promenade Jean Turc. Over 4,000 runners participate each year, with live music and crowd support along the course. Post-race refreshments may include quernons d’ardoises, a local confection featuring caramelized nougatine, almonds, and hazelnuts.
