Trai'elle 2026

Trai’elle is a women-only trail race in Kaysersberg, Haut-Rhin, France, with runners entering the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park. It takes place in mid-October and provides short off-road options instead of one long mountain race. The main listed trail distances are 7 km and 14 km, with a 7 km walk also offered. The shorter trail ascends approximately 260 m, while the 14 km route ascends about 550 m, meaning even the entry distance involves significant elevation gain. Some race details also mention a 21 km trail with 820 m of climbing, plus a discovery route and a Nordic walk. The Nordic walk follows the same course without timing and begins separately from the trail runners. The event focuses on women runners and a solidarity cause, donating 2 euros per participant to the League Against Cancer. The prior edition saw over 200 finishers on the shorter trail and more than 100 on the 14 km route, with food available on site post-race.
