About this race
The Trail blanc de la Montagne ardéchoise is a winter trail race held in Astet, France, at the Chavade Bel-Air Nordic station. Participants can select between 10 km and 20 km routes, both designed for experienced runners. The field is limited to about 80 participants, and the terrain can be challenging, with snow, mud, and adverse weather conditions common.
The routes traverse the woods surrounding the Nordic site, characterizing it as a mountain-forest race. The event has taken place at the Chavade Bel-Air site since 2019 and is expanding. In one past edition, Bernadette Roche provided the final instructions for the 20 km runners, and Corentin Haon won that distance on his first attempt in 1 hour and 20 minutes.
