Trail Caluire Rhône Saône - Caluire-et-Cuire 2027

Caluire Urban Trail is an urban trail race held in Caluire-et-Cuire, near Lyon, with all starts and finishes at Stade Pierre Bourdan on rue Curie. AS Caluire Athlétisme organizes the event, now in its 11th edition, having previously been known as Trail Caluire Rhône. Participants can select from a 10 km course with 150 m of elevation gain, a 16 km course with 300 m, a 24 km course with 400 m, or a 32 km route with 600 m for more seasoned trail runners. The courses incorporate the city itself, passing the town hall, the oratory, former industrial areas, and the banks of the Rhône and Saône rivers. This configuration offers a challenging run through Caluire’s streets, riverbanks, stairways, inclines, and local historical sites, rather than a remote mountain trail. The most recent edition featured completely redesigned routes, a main race hub at Stade Pierre Bourdan, and close to 1,400 registered runners across all distances.
