Trail d'Avenas 2027

Trail d'Avenas is a January trail-running event held in Avenas, with the start village located on allée des chasseurs in Deux-Grosnes, Rhône department, France. Organized by the Amicale des Avenaudis, the race features two primary distances: a 12 km route with 485 m of elevation gain and a 29 km route with 1,008 m of elevation gain. Two children's races are also included, making the event suitable for families and adult trail runners alike. The longer course presents a significant challenge, with its elevation gain classifying it as a true hill race. The shorter route also offers substantial climbing for its distance, appealing to runners seeking a concise yet demanding trail. Aid stations providing food and drinks are positioned approximately every 7 km.
