Trail de Bouzigues 2027

Trail de Bouzigues begins in Bouzigues, a small commune in Hérault situated on the edge of the Thau lagoon in Occitanie. Organized by the Bouzigues firefighters, this charity trail-running event offers several distances: a short 6 km outing, a 13 km race, and the main 29 km Trail XS route with approximately 650 meters of elevation gain. The event typically takes place in spring, attracting close to 900 participants, making it a well-attended local race that retains a community atmosphere. The routes traverse paths around Bouzigues and the lagoon area, featuring sea air, natural terrain, and views characteristic of this Mediterranean coastal region known for oyster farming. The program includes walkers, club runners, families, and children, with junior races for young "mini trail" runners. As an established event on the local calendar, its fundraising component is significant: recent editions have donated several hundred euros to the Thau en Rose collective. The finish area's atmosphere is fostered by volunteers, local partners, a speaker, sponsors, family participation, and brasucade, a shellfish cookout that aligns with Bouzigues' identity.
