About this race
The Trail de Coat-Losquet is a trail running event in Pleyber-Christ, northern Finistere. Its adult races take place within the private Bois de Coat-Losquet, which opens specifically for the event. The program includes two adult trail options, a walk, and children’s races, functioning more as a local running day than a single-start race. Depending on the edition, the short trail is approximately 7.5 to 8.5 km, while the longer trail can reach 15 km or more, featuring significantly more climbing than the shorter route.
The routes remain within the Coat-Losquet woods. The short race presents a smaller climb, and the long race offers a hillier challenge for stronger runners. Listed elevation figures show 139 m for the 7.5 km route and 342 m for the 15 km route; one edition indicates 670 m of gain for the long trail. The walk is accessible to a broader audience and may support a charity, such as fundraising for the Dans association. Children are categorized by age or school class, with short courses designed for ages 3 to 11. Organizers Ar-Coat and Les trotteurs de la penze have set up logistics typical of a small event: limited places, no same-day registration for trail races, ID required for bib pickup, and basic aid stations providing water.
