Trail de l'Aigle 2026

Trail de l'Aigle is a mountain trail event in Manigod, in Haute-Savoie in the French Alps, with races planned for mid-July. The main choice is between an 11 km loop with 460 m of climbing and a 26 km loop with 1300 m of climbing, with the longer route listed as the most popular. The event also includes Nordic walking and a 2 km children’s race called the Trail des Aiglons. The race starts at Col de La Croix Fry and uses the Beauregard plateau, so runners are on alpine ground rather than city streets. One version of the event sends runners out on snowy tracks in the mountains around sunset, with views toward Mont Blanc while they are still working hard. The local touch is very Haute-Savoie: every participant gets a farm-made Reblochon cheese at the finish.
