Trail de l’Enfer is a trail running event in Plouguiel, Côtes-d’Armor, organized by the local association L’Er d’Enfer. It typically takes place in March, although recent events have shifted to a July weekend. The starting point is the football field. Recent events have attracted around 250 to 300 participants.
The name translates to “Trail of Hell,” a fitting description given the muddy, wet, and slippery conditions, particularly in its traditional March timing. A long race has been won by Philippe Roux and Marine Lec’hvien. Additionally, a 19 km race has been won by Titouan Soulabaille and Anne-Lise Le Quéré. Practical arrangements include timing, refreshment stations, toilets, and parking.
