About this race
Trail de la Côte d'Emeraude is a Breton trail-running weekend that sends runners toward Saint-Malo. The 32 km race starts in Saint-Coulomb, and a longer 54 km option begins in Saint-Benoit des Ondes. Both races conclude at the ramparts of Saint-Malo, meaning even the shorter course finishes at a specific coastal-city landmark instead of a standard finish arch.
The 54 km route uses the GR34 coastal trail, while the 32 km race offers a more direct path to the Saint-Malo finish. Both distances hold an FFA Silver Label and function as Brittany Championship races, attracting serious regional competitors alongside trail runners seeking a well-organized coastal event. The 32 km race awards 1 ITRA point, and the 54 km awards 2 ITRA points and a UTMB Index of 50. The event is also part of the Challenge Crédit Agricole 22/35. Bib resale is managed by the organizers with a policy that penalizes only the seller, ensuring runners on the waitlist are not disadvantaged.
