The Trail de la Flora is a trail race held in March in Saint-Alban, located in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany. Participants can select from 8 km, 12 km, or 24 km courses, and there are also options for children and juniors. The 8 km race is designed for those new to trail running, featuring 150 m of elevation gain. The 12 km course offers 260 m of climbing, while the 24 km route presents a greater challenge with 550 m of elevation gain and some technical terrain.
The courses traverse forest paths, coastal sections, and include sea views and seaside running, incorporating sand. This means the race alternates between woodland and the Brittany coast, avoiding roads. The 24 km course has a time limit at Quinrouët, situated 4 km from the finish line. A unique element is the KOM Hyper U d'Yffiniac: the final 300 m are timed as a separate sprint, with awards for the top three male and female finishers across all distances. La faune et la Flora organizes the event, which has now completed over ten editions.
