About this race
The Trail de la Flora is a spring trail race held in Saint-Alban, Côtes-d’Armor, France, starting from the Saint-Guillaume school. Participants can select from 8 km, 12 km, and 24 km courses, catering to both shorter-distance trail runners and those seeking a longer run over varied terrain.
The courses traverse forest paths, coastal stretches, local roads around Saint-Alban, and lanes in neighboring areas, featuring ascents of 150, 260, or 550 meters based on the chosen distance. Certain sections are technical, and the longest race has a time checkpoint at Quinrouët, 4 km from the finish. A unique element concludes the event: the last 300 meters are timed individually as the KOM Hyper U d’Yffiniac, with awards for the top three women and men across all distances. The race is organized by the Saint-Guillaume school’s parents’ association; a recent edition saw 816 participants, with 337 running the 12 km course.
