Trail de la Grande Pierre is a late-April trail event in Marolles, in the Marne department of France’s Grand Est region. It offers four formats, including trail races, Nordic walking, and a family run, catering to a wider audience beyond regular trail runners. The main race options are short off-road distances around 8 or 9 km and a longer 16 km option, with the 16 km trail attracting the most attention. The routes utilize private paths and the two trail races follow a classic, selective course, meaning runners should anticipate a challenging effort beyond a flat road race. The event has attracted close to 400 participants across all formats, with over 100 finishers in both the shorter trail and the 16 km trail.
