Trail de la Lune Bleue is a night trail run held in Ailly-Noye, Somme, Hauts-de-France. Taking place near the end of March, it equips runners with headlamps for an early-season nature race on Picardy trails. The primary distances are 10 km and 21 km. The 21 km route includes approximately 400 meters of elevation gain, making it suitable for both novice trail runners and those seeking a challenging evening run.
The event begins at the lake in Ailly-Noye, crossing primarily natural terrain. The course features forest paths, routes alongside the Noye river, and more technical segments requiring careful navigation in the dark. The use of headlamps is central, as the forest presents a different atmosphere at night, demanding runner attentiveness to pace changes and uneven ground. The event also includes races for children. Previously known as Trail de la Bête, the race was renamed Trail de la Lune Bleue.
