Trail de la Mandallaz 2027

The Trail de la Mandallaz begins in La Balme-de-Sillingy, a Haute-Savoie village near Annecy, directing participants from village roads onto Préalpes terrain. Held in mid-April, it offers two primary adult races: one approximately 10.4 km with 500 m of elevation gain, and another around 21.6 km with roughly 1,070 m of gain. Youth races are also part of the day's events. The course follows mountain paths and forest tracks, providing views of Lake Annecy and a blend of natural, mountainous, and lakeside environments. The shorter race is more frequently chosen, attracting over 200 participants in a past running, while the longer course sees over 100 runners and requires a significantly greater climbing effort. The event embraces its varied terrain, with local descriptions noting it suits runners who enjoy all surface types, sometimes humorously called a “KTT.”
